ROYAL JELLY

Royal jelly refers to the milk-like substance produced by nurse bees during their first week of life. Its combination of honey and pollen is particularly abundant in Vitamin B-5. In addition to containing a variety of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, enzymes, and hormones, royal jelly is the only natural source of pure acetylcholine. This supplement has antibacterial and antimicrobial properties and has been implicated in several health conditions. It may relieve bronchial asthma, insomnia, and some skin problems. It is thought to contribute to a strong immune system and may be of benefit in liver, kidney, and pancreatic diseases as well as stomach ulcers and bone fractures.

Royal jelly spoils easily. It must be refrigerated and tightly sealed.
